Tigers Struggle In The Second Half, Fall To Rosemount

Farmington, Minn. -- In a hard-fought girls basketball matchup, the Farmington Tigers faced off against the Rosemount Irish, battling through the first half to keep the game within reach. Despite their efforts, the Tigers ultimately succumbed to the Irish, concluding the contest with a final score of 78-55.

Leading the scoring charge for Farmington was the impressive freshman, Gianna Carpentier, who contributed a total of 17 points. Notably, Carpentier showcased her scoring ability early on, but faced challenges in the second half, managing to add only three more points to the tally.

Sophomore Ashley Harrison displayed resilience on the court, chipping in with 13 points for the Tigers. Off the bench, Carly Olson contributed 6 points to the team's efforts, while Ali Simonson, a starter, secured seven points.
