SHAKOPEE, Minn. – The Tigers put up a strong fight against the Sabers in a thrilling four-set match. Set one was closely contested, but a few errors from the Tigers allowed Shakopee to edge out a 25-22 win.
In set two, both teams ramped up the intensity, exchanging points and keeping the momentum alive. The Tigers emerged victorious, winning 25-23 and tying the match at 1-1.
The third set saw Jada Henrikson shine with four kills, while Elexis West contributed with ten digs. Despite a strong rally from the Sabers, they took the set 25-19 after breaking a tie at 15.
With the match on the line and Shakopee celebrating senior night, set four delivered excitement. Despite Sabrina Caven's impressive performance at the net, where she recorded four kills, the Sabers held on to win 26-24, clinching the match 3-1.
Final Score - Shakopee defeats Farmington 3-1 (22-25, 25-23, 19-25, 24-26) .
Location - Shakopee High School, Shakopee Minnesota.
Record - Farmington 11-11, Shakopee 7-10.
