BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers overcame a shaky start to defeat the Burnsville Blaze 3-1 in an exciting match at Burnsville High School. After falling behind 0-7 in the first set, the Tigers rallied to find gaps in the Blaze's defense, showcasing their resilience with a strong finish to win the set 25-19, bolstered by five aces.
Set two saw a competitive back-and-forth, with Burnsville taking an early lead at 4-0. However, the Tigers fought back, with Elexis West and Taylor Hagedorn each contributing 11 digs, helping Farmington secure the set 25-22.
Despite Sabrina Caven's five kills, Farmington struggled in set three as Burnsville regained control, winning 25-20. With the match on the line, Addison Otto delivered a standout performance in set four, going four for eight in hitting attempts with no errors, helping the Tigers edge Burnsville 25-23 to clinch the match.
