EAGAN, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers battled hard but came up short against the Eagan Wildcats, falling 74-67 in a South Suburban Conference matchup on Tuesday night. The Tigers now hold a 2-2 record on the season.
RECAP
Farmington opened strong, taking a 29-27 lead into halftime behind efficient shooting and a solid defensive effort. The Tigers connected on 10 three-pointers in the game, keeping Eagan on their toes throughout. However, the Wildcats rallied in the second half, outscoring Farmington 47-38 to secure the win.
Free-throw shooting proved to be a deciding factor, with Eagan converting 21 of their 31 attempts compared to Farmington's 5-for-11 effort. Despite this, the Tigers stayed competitive, showcasing a balanced offensive attack and strong rebounding efforts on both ends of the floor.

- Nik Domier led the Tigers with 13 points, shooting 6-of-9 from the field, and added 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
- Marshall Gordon scored 12 points, including four three-pointers, and contributed 2 assists.
- Cole Wilcek delivered an all-around performance with 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.
- Ryan Beckwith added 10 points, hitting three shots from beyond the arc.
