FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys basketball team used a dominant second half to earn a 75-67 home victory over Edina on Tuesday night at Farmington High School. The win moves the Tigers to 2-0 on the young season.

Trailing 31-26 at the half, Farmington came out energized in the final 18 minutes, outscoring the Hornets 49-36 behind a balanced offensive attack and increased defensive intensity. The Tigers found their rhythm offensively after the break, knocking down shots and limiting Edina's second-chance opportunities.
The game featured physical play and high energy from both teams, with tensions running high at times in what turned into a chippy matchup. Despite the extra intensity, the Tigers maintained composure and executed down the stretch to secure the win.

The Tigers return to action on Thursday, December 11, when they open South Suburban Conference play at home against Rosemount. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at Farmington High School.
