FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys basketball team tipped off the 2025-26 season with a commanding 66-38 home victory over the Rochester Century Panthers on Friday night at Farmington High School. The non-conference season and home opener showcased a dominant team effort from start to finish as the Tigers never trailed.
RECAP
Farmington set the tone early, applying defensive pressure and turning stops into points in transition. The Tigers built a double-digit lead in the opening half and carried their momentum into the second, holding the Panthers to limited scoring opportunities throughout the game.
The Tigers' depth was on full display, as the reserves checked in with just over six minutes remaining in the second half. The defensive effort was anchored by Max Blandin, who played a key role in shutting down Century's offense.
