FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys basketball team remained unbeaten on the season with a 77-63 home win over Rosemount on Friday night. The win moved the Tigers to 3-0 on the year and gave them an early boost in South Suburban Conference play.

Farmington set the tone early, using a 38-point first half to take a seven-point lead into the break. The Tigers continued their steady offensive production in the second half, adding 39 more points while holding the Irish to 32. A balanced scoring attack and strong work on the glass helped Farmington maintain control throughout the contest.
The Tigers were efficient from inside the arc, converting 61.3 percent of their two-point field goals (19-of-31) and added nine made threes to complement their inside presence. Defensively, Farmington generated 14 points off turnovers and held a 38-26 advantage in points in the paint.
TOP TIGERS
- Benjamin Fenske led the Tigers with 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting, adding five rebounds and three assists.
- Max Blandin added 13 points and six rebounds, knocking down three three-pointers.
- Kale Flees tallied 12 points, six rebounds, and three steals in a complete performance.
- Briggs Sheridan contributed 12 points and four boards, hitting two shots from beyond the arc.
- Blake Johnson chipped in six points and two assists while collecting five rebounds off the bench.
Farmington also saw production from across the lineup, recording 15 assists and 30 defensive rebounds as a team.
UP NEXT
The Tigers will face their toughest test yet when they travel to Lakeville South on Tuesday, Dec. 16, for a key early-season SSC and Section 1AAAA matchup. The Cougars enter the contest 4-0. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
