EAGAN, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers faced a tough matchup against the Eagan Wildcats on Tuesday night, ultimately falling 60-51 in an overtime thriller. Despite holding a double-digit lead at one point, the Tigers were unable to hold off a late surge by Eagan.

Farmington started strong, building an 11-point lead in the first half, powered by their defensive intensity and efficient shooting at the free-throw line. The Tigers went into halftime with a narrow 23-21 edge. In the second half, Farmington continued to battle, maintaining a lead throughout the game. The Tigers lead 44-35 with under 3 minutes remaining in the game. However, turnovers and missed opportunities in the paint allowed Eagan to stay within striking distance.
The Wildcats made their move in overtime, outscoring the Tigers 12-3. Farmington struggled to generate offense in the extra period while Eagan capitalized on their chances at the basket. Despite a valiant effort, the Tigers were unable to regain their rhythm.
