WOODBURY, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers showcased a strong offensive effort and a relentless defensive presence to defeat the Woodbury Royals 67-47 on Saturday afternoon at Woodbury High School. The Tigers improve to 2-1 on the season as they gear up for a two-game homestand.
RECAP
Farmington set the tone early, outscoring Woodbury 28-13 in the first half, led by balanced scoring from Carly Olson and Gianna Carpentier. Olson finished with a game-high 15 points, while Carpentier added 11.
The Tigers kept the pressure on in the second half, adding 39 points to secure the victory. Ashley Harrison contributed 13 points, and Ali Simonson and Hannah Hansen each chipped in 8, helping Farmington maintain control.
Farmington dominated in the paint with 30 points and capitalized on second-chance opportunities, grabbing 20 offensive rebounds. The Tigers also forced 22 turnovers, converting them into 19 points.
Woodbury was led by Megan Doughty, who scored 15 points, and Harper Vossen, who added 10. Despite their efforts, the Royals struggled to find rhythm offensively, shooting just 21.1% from the field.

Farmington returns to their home court on Tuesday, December 3, to host the Tartan Titans. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
