FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls basketball team came up short against Lakeville North, dropping a 52-39 decision on Friday night at Farmington High School. With the loss, the Tigers move to 5-4 overall and 1-3 in South Suburban Conference play.

Lakeville North set the tone early, building a 26-17 lead by halftime. Despite a stronger second-half effort from Farmington, the Panthers maintained control with balanced scoring and strong defense. The Tigers narrowed the gap to single digits midway through the second half, but Lakeville North's ability to limit turnovers and capitalize on free throws secured the victory.
Gianna Carpentier led the Tigers with 11 points, while Magi Bjornson added 10. Bailey Garrahy contributed 5 points off the bench, but Farmington struggled to consistently find offensive rhythm against a tough Lakeville North defense.
