HASTINGS, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls basketball team wrapped up the Hastings Holiday Tournament in dominant fashion, defeating the Hastings Raiders 73-51 on Saturday night. With the victory, the Tigers finished the tournament with a perfect 2-0 record and head into the new year at 7-4 overall (1-3 South Suburban Conference).

Farmington jumped out to an early lead, scoring 39 first-half points to take a 14-point advantage into halftime. The Tigers maintained their momentum throughout the second half, outscoring Hastings 34-26 to secure the win.
Hannah Hansen led the Tigers' offensive charge with a game-high 25 points, consistently finding success inside the paint and from mid-range. Bailey Garrahy and Ashley Harrison each added 12 points, while Gianna Carpentier contributed 7 points in the balanced effort.
Defensively, Farmington limited the Raiders to just 36% shooting from the field and forced several key turnovers to keep Hastings from mounting a comeback.
