Eagan, Minn. -- In a SSC girls basketball game on Friday, February 9th, the Farmington Tigers secured their first South Suburban Conference (SSC) victory of the season, edging past the Eagan Wildcats with a final score of 67-63 at Eagan High School.
The game commenced with Eagan taking an early lead, closing the first half with a score of 32-25 in their favor. However, the Tigers mounted a remarkable comeback in the second half, outscoring the Wildcats 42-31 to clinch the win.
Throughout the game, Farmington's offensive efforts were led by standout performances from Gianna Carpentier, Carly Olson, and Ali Simonson, who contributed 19, 13, and 10 points respectively. Carpentier's dynamic presence on the court proved pivotal in Farmington's resurgence, while Olson and Simonson delivered crucial points down the stretch to secure the victory.
