Farmington, Minn. -- In a fiercely contested non-conference matchup at Farmington High School, the Farmington Tigers managed to narrowly fend off the Woodbury Royals, securing a hard-fought victory with a final score of 66-65 on February 7th.
The game saw both teams trading baskets and defensive stops throughout, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. The first half saw Farmington taking a slight lead with a score of 31-27. However, Woodbury fought back in the second half, outscoring Farmington 38-35, setting up a tense finale. Despite Woodbury's determined effort, Farmington held on to their slim lead until the final buzzer, clinching the win by a single point.
