Prior Lake, Minn. -- In a South Suburban Conference showdown hosted at Prior Lake High School on Thursday, February 22nd, the Farmington Tigers secured a decisive 94-77 victory over the Prior Lake Lakers.
The Tigers' performance propelled them to an 18-6 overall record, with a notable 12-4 record in conference play, while the Lakers fell to 9-15 overall and 7-9 in SSC action.
From the opening tip-off, Farmington asserted their dominance, establishing a commanding lead early in the game. The Tigers' offense capitalized on scoring opportunities and maintained a relentless pace throughout the contest. By halftime, Farmington held a substantial 47-35 advantage over Prior Lake.
In the second half, Farmington continued to control the tempo of the game, executing their game plan with precision. Despite Prior Lake's efforts to mount a comeback, the Tigers remained resilient, maintaining their lead and effectively closing out the game.
