Rochester, Minn. -- In a commanding performance at Mayo High School, the Farmington Tigers showcased their dominance on the field, securing a resounding 18-5 victory over the Rochester Century Panthers. With this win, the Tigers improve to 3-0 as they prepare for a showdown against the Shakopee Sabers on Tuesday, marking their first South Suburban Conference game of the season.
Right from the opening whistle, Farmington set the tone, establishing a commanding lead with a 6-1 advantage in the first quarter. Their offensive prowess was on full display throughout the game, as they continued to pile on the goals, outscoring Rochester in every quarter.
A balanced scoring effort propelled the Tigers to victory, with multiple players making significant contributions on the stat sheet. Parker Nivala led the charge with an impressive six goals, while Tommy Lund and Lukas Foley each added two goals apiece. Additionally, Caden Hennes showcased his playmaking ability with four assists, further fueling Farmington's offensive onslaught.
