ROCHESTER, Minn. -- Coming off a Rochester Mayo sweep, the Tigers took to Century forcing two early timeouts in set one and leading to a 25-19 set one victory. Century, with a great fan base, battled point for point in set two feeding off of Farmington's errors. The Tigers finished set two with a 7-2 run winning 25-19.
In set three, the Tigers had all the momentum. Leading early and creating a 12 point deficit. Late in set three, sophomore Kayley Schuenemann saw her first varsity minutes. Without hesitating Schuenemann tallied three set assists for the Tigers. Also in her first varsity appearance, sophomore Addi Gibart hit the ground running with a few set assist giving the Tigers a 22–13 and 23-13 lead. Farmington finished set three winning 25-16, and winning the match 3-0.
The Tigers were led in kills by Sabrina Caven, collecting 9, Taylor Hagedorn and Braelyn Hendrickson with 8 a piece and Addison Otto with 7. Elexis West led the team with 25 digs, Ramsie Witt tallied 12 and Lila Johansen with 8.
Final Score - Farmington defeats Rochester Century 25-19, 25-19, 25-16.
