OWATONNA, Minn. – The Owatonna Huskies hosted the Farmington Tigers on Tuesday, September 10th, in their beautiful brand new facility. An annual scheduled non-conference section match up between the Tigers and Huskies never disappoints. In a scrappy first set, both teams battled to 18-18 until the Tigers closed the set 25-21.
After a commanding 6-1 lead in the second set the Huskies settled as the Tigers bounced back tying the set at 10 a piece. With a dominating performance by Jada Henrikson in set two Farmington took the set 25-20.
With a sweep in sight, the Tigers could not match the energy the Huskies instilled in their great home crowd. Owatonna went on to win set three 25-20.
With another lead, the Huskies gained momentum early in set four. Farmington was able to rally back, tying the set at 8. The Tigers continued to push resulting in a 25-19 set win and a 3-1 match win over the Huskies.
Jada Henrikson led the way for the Tigers with 12 kills and two aces. Taylor Hagedorn tallied 11 kills and 14 digs for the Tigers. Lexi West contributed 11 digs along with two aces, while Addison Otto collected seven kills and three blocks for Farmington.
Final Score – Farmington defeats Owatonna 25-21, 25-20, 20-25, 25-19.

Records – Farmington 6-4, Rochester Century 2-5.
