FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers faced off against the #3AAAA Lakeville South Cougars on Tuesday, September 25th, showcasing a competitive spirit throughout the match. In set one, the Tigers initially took the lead, but a pivotal 7-0 run by the Cougars shifted the momentum in their favor, allowing Lakeville South to clinch the set 25-18.
Set two proved challenging for Farmington, as the Cougars capitalized on every mistake, securing a decisive 25-12 victory. However, the Tigers regrouped in set three, exhibiting their best play of the season in a fierce back-and-forth battle that culminated in a 25-22 win for Farmington.
Despite their efforts, the momentum from set three didn't carry over. The Cougars came out strong, leveraging aggressive serves and a dominant front row to take set four 25-12, winning the match 3-1.
Final Score - Lakeville South defeats Farmington 3-1 (25-18, 25-12, 22-25, 25-12) .
