Farmington, MN - It was an eventful night at Farmington High School as the Tigers hosted the Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars in a thrilling non-conference showdown. The match began with a close first set, where the Tigers narrowly edged out the Jaguars 26-24. The Jaguars responded strongly in set two, securing a commanding 25-17 victory to level the match at 1-1.
The Tigers bounced back in set three with a 25-20 win, putting them in a position to close out the match. However, despite a competitive set four that was tied at 16-16, the Tigers fell 20-25, pushing the match to a decisive fifth set. Farmington struggled early in the final set, trailing 2-7 and needing a timeout to regroup. Unfortunately, the Tigers could not find their rhythm and dropped set five 9-15, losing the match 2-3.
The Tigers were led in kills by Sophomore Addison Otto handing out 11- in multiple ways, Jada Henrikson with 9 and Ramsie Witt with 9. Defensively for the Tigers Ramsie Witt tallied 19 digs while Henrikson and Taylor Hagedorn passed 12 each. Hagedorn getting it done all over the court collected 5 blocks on the night.
Final Score - Farmington defeats New Prague 25-17, 24-26, 25-14, and 25-14.
