EDINA, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers saw an early lead slip away as they fell 64-55 to the Edina Hornets on Thursday night at Edina High School. With the loss, the Tigers drop to 8-6 overall and 2-4 in South Suburban Conference play.
RECAP
Farmington started the game strong, building a 20-11 lead midway through the first half, thanks to a balanced offensive effort led by Hannah Hansen and Carly Olson. However, Edina responded with a surge to take a 30-28 halftime lead, using their size and efficiency in the paint.
In the second half, the Tigers struggled to match Edina's physicality, with the Hornets outscoring Farmington 34-27. Despite strong free-throw shooting from Gianna Carpentier, who went 8-for-10 from the line, Farmington couldn't close the gap as Edina's inside presence and defensive pressure sealed the victory.
