FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers emphatically returned to the win column on Thursday night with a 76-33 victory over the Eastview Lightning at Farmington High School. The win snapped a three-game losing skid and improved the Tigers to 6-6 overall and 3-4 in South Suburban Conference play.
RECAP
Farmington set the tone early with stifling defense and efficient scoring, building a commanding 40-14 lead by halftime. The Tigers were relentless from beyond the arc, shooting 50% (14-for-28) from three-point range while holding Eastview to just 24% shooting overall.
Ryan Beckwith and Cole Wilcek led the charge offensively. Beckwith tallied a game-high 16 points, including three three-pointers, while Wilcek added 16 points of his own and grabbed five rebounds. The Tigers' defense was equally impressive, forcing 16 turnovers and converting them into 15 points.
Farmington's depth was on display as multiple players contributed on both ends of the floor. Briggs Sheridan added 15 points, and Justin Stoneburg was a force inside, finishing with six points and a team-high six rebounds.
Eastview struggled to find rhythm against Farmington's defense, scoring just 12 points in the paint and shooting 16.7% (4-for-24) from beyond the arc.

The Tigers will look to build on the win as they travel to Rochester Century for a matchup with the Panthers on Saturday, January 18. Tipoff is set for 7:30 pm.
