Boys Basketball Secures Section Win Over Rochester Century

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers picked up an important Section 1AAAA victory on Saturday night, defeating the Rochester Century Panthers 59-52 on the road. The win lifts the Tigers to 7-6 overall and 3-4 in the South Suburban Conference.

RECAP
Farmington got off to a fast start, fueled by strong interior play and ball movement that led to a 35-24 halftime advantage. Cole Wilcek led the charge with 12 points, including six in the opening half, as the Tigers dominated the paint with 38 points compared to 16 for the Panthers.

Rochester Century rallied in the second half, narrowing the deficit behind a flurry of three-pointers. The Panthers hit 10 triples on the night but struggled to match Farmington's defensive intensity. Key steals and second-chance opportunities allowed the Tigers to hold off the late surge.
