APPLE VALLEY, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers fell 55-39 to the Eastview Lightning on Thursday night at Eastview High School in South Suburban Conference action. With the loss, the Tigers drop to 8-8 overall and 2-6 in SSC play.
RECAP
Farmington struggled to keep pace with Eastview's balanced attack, trailing 26-16 at halftime. The Lightning capitalized on early turnovers and strong perimeter shooting to build their lead, and a consistent second half secured the victory for the home team.
Farmington was led by Macie Henrikson, who scored a team-high 10 points, while Gianna Carpentier and Maggie Griffin each added seven points. Despite several attempts to cut into the deficit, the Tigers could not close the gap as Eastview's defense held firm.
Farmington's second-half push, highlighted by improved ball movement and efforts to attack the paint, was not enough to overcome the Lightning, who maintained control throughout the game.
