Girls Basketball Battles in Loss to Rosemount

FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers came up short against the Rosemount Irish on Tuesday night, falling 57-45 at Farmington High School. The Tigers now sit at 9-10 overall and 3-7 in South Suburban Conference play.

RECAP
Turnovers proved costly for Farmington as Rosemount capitalized on 23 Tiger giveaways, turning them into 22 points. The Irish established an early lead, taking a 32-21 advantage into halftime. Despite a stronger second-half effort from Farmington, the deficit proved too much to overcome.

Gianna Carpentier and Carly Olson led the Tigers offensively, each scoring 10 points. Hannah Hansen added nine points, while Macie Henrikson contributed four points, six steals, and three assists.

Rosemount controlled the paint, scoring 28 points inside and limiting Farmington's second-chance opportunities.
