LAKEVILLE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers battled but ultimately fell 62-53 to the Lakeville South Cougars in a South Suburban Conference matchup on Friday night. With the loss, the Tigers drop to 7-5 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

Farmington trailed by just two points at halftime, 30-28, after a strong first half led by Carly Olson and Gianna Carpentier. Olson scored 10 of her team-high 18 points in the opening half, keeping the Tigers within striking distance.
Lakeville South pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 32-25 behind balanced scoring efforts from Piper Ohnstad and Aubrey Beauchamp, who combined for 25 points.
Despite a late push from Farmington, the Cougars' defense held firm, limiting the Tigers' offensive opportunities down the stretch.
