The Sabers surged ahead early, building a 46-25 halftime lead behind a hot-shooting first half that included 12 made three-pointers. Despite a strong second-half effort from the Tigers, where they outscored the Sabers 41-35, the early deficit proved too large to overcome.
Farmington shot 38.3% from the field and struggled to connect consistently from beyond the arc, hitting 8-of-27 attempts. Nik Domier led the Tigers' offense with a team-high 17 points, while Marshall Gordon added 21 points, including five three-pointers.
Shakopee showcased a balanced attack, converting on 40.0% of their three-point attempts and capitalizing on 21-of-26 free throw opportunities to maintain their lead throughout the game.
