EDINA, Minn. -- On November 14-15, 2025, the Farmington Debaters competed at the Edina Invitational Tournament held at Edina High School.

The Farmington JV team of Aimee Assanga and Naomi Mamo had an outstanding tournament. Continuing their top three finish streak, they finished Friday night competition with an undefeated record and perfect speaker points. This meant they were JV champions and tied for top speaker.

Following that success, Assanga and Mamo competed Saturday and finished in 3rd place behind two teams from Eagan. Additionally, Mamo was 3rd overall speaker and Assanga was 4th.

Varsity and Novice debate also saw some good success and improvement in personal competitive goals.

The Farmington Debaters continue their season this coming weekend at the University of Minnesota "Umbrooks" tournament.
