SHAKOPEE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers struggled to keep pace with a high-powered Shakopee Sabers offense on Friday night, falling 87-53 in a South Suburban Conference matchup at Shakopee High School. The loss drops the Tigers to 8-11 overall and 4-8 in SSC play.

Farmington hung tough early, putting up 28 points in the first half, but Shakopee's offensive efficiency allowed them to build a 42-28 lead by halftime. The Sabers continued to push the tempo in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 45-25 to seal the victory.
Shakopee's balanced scoring attack was led by Eli Schroeder, who poured in a game-high 23 points. Farmington's offensive effort was highlighted by Briggs Sheridan and Tommy Schabert, who each scored 11 points, while Ryan Beckwith added nine.
Turnovers proved costly for Farmington, as Shakopee capitalized with transition baskets to extend their lead. Despite solid efforts on the boards from the Tigers, the Sabers' perimeter shooting and defensive pressure made the difference in the game.
