FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers delivered a strong performance at the Section 1AA Championship on February 15, finishing third with a team score of 139.300. The Tigers saw three athletes qualify for the MSHSL Class AA State Gymnastics Meet.

Farmington put together a well-rounded effort across all events. Alana Oden led the team with a top all-around score of 36.475. She secured a state qualification on bars with a score of 8.900 and also contributed strong performances on beam (9.000) and floor (9.325).
Allie Oden earned a state berth on vault, recording a 9.375, while Kamryn Schmucker punched her ticket on floor with a 9.400. Additional standout performances included Miley Malszycki's 8.650 on vault and her 9.100 on floor, and Sophie Bellefeuille's 8.350 on vault. Other notable contributors were Lucy Manthei (8.450 on floor), Olivia Gallivan (8.475 on beam), and Cydney DeRuyck (8.275 on beam).

The three Farmington qualifiers will compete at the MSHSL Class AA State Gymnastics Meet on Saturday, February 22, at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. The Class AA competition begins at 6:00 p.m.
