FARMINGTON, Minn. -- The 2025 Section 1 Class AAAA Girls Basketball Tournament is set to begin on Wednesday, February 26.
Seeding for the tournament took place on Saturday, February 22 and the Farmington Tigers have earned the #4 seed and will host the #5 seeded New Prague Trojans on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm at Farmington High School.
The two teams met once this season as a part of the Hastings Holiday Tournament. The Tigers picked up the narrow victory defeating the Trojans 65-61 en route to their second consecutive tournament championship. The Trojans finished the regular season with a 18-8 record overall and 7-7 in the Metro West Conference.
Meanwhile, Farmington wrapped up the 2024-25 regular season with a 12-14 record overall and 6-11 in the South Suburban Conference. The Tigers' hold key victories over Owatonna, New Prague, and Lakeville South during the regular season.

Tickets will be sold electronically only. Tickets can be purchased via the
Farmington Ticket Box or at the door. There will be no cash sales.
All section games have a $10 ticket price for adults and $6 price for students. SSC passes will not be accepted. Only valid Region 1 AA passes will grant admission.
