FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers capped off their regular season in dominant fashion, defeating the Burnsville Blaze 87-67 on Friday night at Farmington High School. The Tigers finish the season with a 14-12 overall record, including a 9-9 mark in the South Suburban Conference, as they now shift their focus to the postseason.
RECAP
Farmington controlled the game from the start, using a balanced offensive attack and aggressive defense to build a 39-28 halftime lead. The Tigers continued to apply pressure in the second half, outscoring Burnsville 48-39 to secure the 20-point victory.
Ryan Beckwith led the way with 17 points, knocking down two three-pointers and making key plays on both ends of the floor. Marshall Gordon added 16 points, including four three-pointers in a strong shooting performance. Tommy Schabert provided a spark off the bench, finishing with 13 points.
Briggs Sheridan and Ben Helgemoe also contributed key buckets, each hitting a three-pointer to help stretch the lead. The Tigers' depth proved to be a major factor, with 12 different players scoring in the contest.

With the regular season complete, the Tigers now await their seeding for the Section 1 Class AAAA boys basketball tournament.
