Boys Hockey hosted Burnsville at Schmitz-Maki on Saturday, December 18. The Tigers beat the Blaze 3-2 in overtime.
After a scoreless first period,
Dylan Dodson netted an even strength, second period goal (assisted by
Ryan Holmstrom) to give the Tigers their first lead of the night. The score would remain 1-0 through the end of the second period.
Burnsville scored two goals in the third period to give the Blaze a 2-1 lead.
Kyler Schwamb found the back of the net at 16:41 to tie the game at 2 and send it to OT.
Dylan Dodson and
Ryan Holmstrom earned the assist on Schwamb's goal.
Kyler Schwamb was the hero of the night scoring the game-winning-goal at 5:15 to give the Tigers the 3-2 win.Â
