Farmington traveled to Doug Woog Arena in South St. Paul to compete in the 2021 Premier Tournament over the Holiday Break.
Game 1 of the tournament matched SSC opponent Eagan with the Tigers. Eagan would win the game 4-2.Â
Farmington got on the board first after a first-period goal from
Dylan Dodson assisted by
Luke Walton. The first period would end 1-0.Â
In the second period, Eagan would tie the game up 1-1. Playing short-handed, Farmington's
Hayden Sanborn found the back of the net to give the Tigers the 2-1 lead.
Eagan would score three third period goals extending the Wildcats' lead to 4-2 and the Tigers could not find a way to come back.Â

Farmington is back in action on Tuesday, December 28 playing the loser of the Woodbury/Hopkins game. Puck drops at Noon back at Doug Woog Arena.
