Girls Hockey hosted East Ridge on Wednesday, December 29 on the second day of the 17th Annual Louis Schmitz Classic at Schmitz-Maki Arena. The Tigers lost this game 5-4 in OT.
Sam Moehle and
Morgan Mitchell scored first period, even strength goals to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead at the end of the first period. East Ridge scored four unanswered goals through the next two periods to earna 4-2 lead.
Sam Moehle scored her second goal of the night at 3:21 in the third period, assisted by
MaKenna Kadrlik and
Jenna Bethke, to make the score 4-3.
Sam Moehle's netted a hat trick goal on the power play to tiget the game at 12:26 in the third period.
In overtime, East Ridge scored just 59 seconds into the period to earn the 5-4 win over the Tigers.
