FARMINGTON, Minn – The Farmington Tigers girls hockey team is headed to the MSHSL Class AA State Tournament, earning the No. 7 seed.
The Tigers will represent Section 1 Class AA as the tournament champions after a thrilling 3-2 victory over the No. 3 seeded Northfield Raiders on Thursday night in Owatonna.
Farmington will take the ice at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul on Thursday, February 19, for a 6:00 p.m. quarterfinal matchup against No. 2 seeded Centennial/Spring Lake Park.

Farmington High School will host an official send-off for the team when they leave FHS on Thursday, February 19. A time will be announced on Monday.
