Girls Hockey hosted Rosemount on Thursday, January 6 at Schmitz-Maki Arena. The Tigers came up short, falling to the Irish 4-2.
Rosemount's Whitney Tuttle would score all four Irish goals; her first coming in period 1 at 4:34. The Tigers found themselves down 1-0 at the end of the period.
Morgan Mitchell's even strength goal, assisted by
Shelby Mahowald, at 9:07 would get the Tigers within one goal. At the end of two period, Farmington trailed 2-1.
MaKenna Kadrlik would tie the game at 2 with a goal at 2:15. Assists went to
Morgan Mitchell and
Abby Gehrke.
Rosemount scored the final two goals of the game, giving the Irish the 4-2 win.
