Girls Hockey traveled to Apple Valley on Saturday, January 8. The Tigers came up short, falling to the Eagles 6-2.
Farmington and Apple Valley first played on November 20 with the Eagles earning the win 3-6.
In the first period on Saturday night, Apple Valley scored the only goal at 5:35. In period number two, the Eagles tacked on goal number 2 at 4:22. Back-to-back goals were scored by Farmington's
MaKenna Kadrlik and
Kennedy Meier (power play) to tie the game 2-2. Before the end of the third period, Apple Valley scored once more to head into the break leading 3-2.
In the third period, it was all Apple Valley. The Eagles scored three quick goals to start the period and didn't allow Farmington to find the net.
