The Farmington Tigers played another strong contest at home, but fell in the non conference matchup to Eden Prairie on Tuesday, 3-2 in overtime.

The Tigers struck first again at home with a goal in the first three minutes of action as Abby Gehrke continued to add to her season tally. Eden Prairie would find the equalizer minutes later and Farmington drew another penalty in the final seconds of the period.

The Tigers failed to capitalize on the power play to open up the second period and then committed a penalty that allowed the Eagles to score on their own power play. The Eagles held a 2-1 advantage into the third period.

The Tigers would fight to extend the game with a last-minute goal to send the game into OT as Gehrke scored again. The OT would only last a minute however, as EP put the game away on a breakaway goal.
