Girls Hockey traveled to Drake Arena on Saturday, December 17 for a match-up with the South Metro Phoenix. The Phoenix (A co-op between Burnsville, St. Paul Academy, St. Agnes, Faribault, Bethlehem Academy, and DeLaSalle) won the game 3-2.
The Phoenix struck first at 5:51 giving the South Metro the period's only goal to lead 1-0 after 1.
Makenna Kadrlik tied things up with an even strength goal at 12:32 in the second period. Just one minute later, the Phoenix regaind the lead 2-1.
Madison Kadrlik would get the game back to even after scoring a power play goal to start the third period.
The South Metro netted the game winner at 5:44 to make the final 3-2.
