Boys Hockey traveled to Rochester on Thursday, February 24 for the Section 1 AA quarterfinal game. #5 Farmington lost the game to #4 Rochester Mayo 4-2.
Mayo scored the only goal of the first period to lead 1-0 at the break. In the second period, Mayo would score first to extend the lead 2-0.
Farmington's
Ryan Holmstrom scored an even strength goal seconds later to get the Tigers on the board.
Luke Walton would score the next goal at 13:28 to tie the game 2-2. Before the period ended, Mayo scored a goal to lead 3-2.
In the final period, Mayo scored to build another 2-goal lead.Â
