Boys Hockey traveled to Burnsville High School on Monday, January 31 to battle the Blaze. The Tigers (4-12-1, 2-8-1 SSC) and Blaze (0-18-2, 0-13 SSC) ended in a 3-3 tie.
Farmington found the back of the net twice in the first period courtesy of
Luke Walton and
Charlie Pire to earn a 2-0 lead at the end of the period.
Burnsville would answer back early in the second period to make it a 2-1, however, an even strength
Kyler Schwamb goal gave the Tigers a 2-goal lead again.
In the third period, Burnsville tacked on two unanswered goals to force overtime. Neither team were able to settle things in the extra period.
