Boys Golf traveled to the Interlachen Country Club on Tuesday, May 3 to compete against the Edina Hornets. The Tigers beat the Hornets 307-309.
Junior Zach Rouleau finished in 1st place among all golfers with a score of 68(-4). Rouleau played exceptionally well on the afternoon sinking birdies on holes two, five, ten and fifteen. His round included an eagle on hole four. Rouleau beat the rest of the field by 6 strokes.
Junior Kyler Schwamb earned a 2nd place finish in the day. Schwamb finished his round with a score of 74. After a pair of bogeys on holes one and two, Schwamb quickly recovered sinking birdies on holes four and nine.
Freshman Cale Thompson finished in 3rd for the Tigers, and 8th overall, shooting 80 on the afternoon. Highlights from Thompson's round included birdies on holes ten and seventeen.
Senior Will Bassett finished 4th for Farmington with a score of 85. Bassett's round earned him a 9th place finish overall and included a birdie on hole 9.
Dylan Olson finished in 10th for the Tigers with a score of 86. Kyle Watson earned a 12th place finish and a score of 88.
