Boys Golf Takes 6th at SSC Meet at Brackett’s Crossing

LAKEVILLE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys golf team battled through tough conditions and strong competition at Brackett's Crossing Country Club on Thursday, placing 6th out of 10 teams in the second South Suburban Conference meet of the season with a team score of 316 (+32).

Jaden Kelly once again paced the Tigers, firing a 74 (+3) to place 5th overall in the individual standings. Ethan Button added a steady round of 79 (+8) to support the team effort, while senior Cale Thompson contributed an 81 (+10).

Farmington's depth was on display, as Jonah Ask (82, +11), Ayden Wollak (84, +13), and Logan Henriksen (85, +14) all turned in solid rounds to round out the team score.

The Tigers stayed competitive in a tight group of teams, finishing just three strokes behind 5th-place Shakopee (313) and only nine strokes out of the top three. Rosemount (297) and Prior Lake (298) led the field in a highly competitive day of conference play.

The Tigers will travel to StoneRidge Golf Club in Stillwater on Wednesday for an invitational hosted by East Ridge High School.
