Boys Golf Finishes 13th in Highly Competitive “The Preview” Tournament at Edinburgh USA

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys golf team faced some of the best competition in the state this week at the two-day "The Preview" tournament, finishing 13th out of 18 teams at the prestigious event held at Edinburgh USA Golf Course.

RECAP
Farmington posted a team score of 622 (+46) across two rounds, battling against a loaded field that included many of Minnesota's top-ranked programs. After opening with a 316 (+28) on Day 1, the Tigers improved in Round 2 with a 306 (+18), one of their lower team rounds of the young season.

Junior Jaden Kelly led the way for Farmington, carding a two-day total of 149 (+5) to finish 18th overall among a deep and talented individual field. Kelly shot rounds of 76 and 73, showing consistency and resilience on a challenging course layout.

Senior Cale Thompson also turned in a strong performance, finishing tied for 35th after rounds of 77 and 76 for a 153 (+9) total. Ayden Wollak (162, +18) and Jonah Ask (163, +19) rounded out the Tigers' top scorers.
