FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys golf team opened the 2025 season with a strong showing in the first South Suburban Conference meet of the year, finishing 3rd out of 10 teams with a team score of 316 (+32) at Souther Hills Golf Course on Monday.
RECAP
Led by senior Cale Thompson and junior Jaden Kelly, who each carded rounds of 76 (+5) to tie for 4th place individually, the Tigers showed early-season consistency across the lineup. Freshman Ayden Wollak added a key round of 81 (+10) in his conference debut, while seniors Logan Henriksen and Ethan Button each posted rounds of 83 (+12) to help round out Farmington's team total.
The Tigers finished just one stroke behind runner-up Shakopee (315) and eight shots off first-place Rosemount (308), placing them firmly in contention in the SSC race.
