The Farmington Tigers got back in the win column on Tuesday to get back over .500 on the young season, 3-2-1. They went wire-to-wire to stay undefeated at home, beating Hastings 2-0.
It took only 15 seconds into the match for junior Lauren McGough to sneak down the left side of the field, chip the keeper to the opposite post, and net the first goal of the contest.
Farmington had a couple more scoring chances, but the score remained 1-0 heading into the break. Junior Keeper Ayden Gagner was largely untested in the first half by Hastings.
Gagner was forced to make more saves in the second half, however she was able to keep the clean sheet. Senior Olivia Theirl tacked on the finishing touches with a beautiful goal off the left foot.
Farmington hosts Burnsville Wednesday night looking to continue the home winning streak.
