FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls soccer team picked up their third win of the season with a 3-0 shutout over Apple Valley on Wednesday night. The Tigers remained undefeated on the year, improving to 3-0-4 overall behind a balanced offensive attack and another strong performance in goal.
RECAP
Farmington struck early and never looked back. Katelyn Kiage opened the scoring in the first half, finishing a play assisted by Sammie Seehusen. Kaylee Komis made it 2-0 later in the half, converting off an assist from Maddie Scholla. In the second half, Casey Johnson added an unassisted goal to seal the victory.
On the defensive end, the Tigers recorded their third shutout of the season, with goalkeeper Lola Kanikula registering two saves. Farmington has now allowed only four goals through seven matches, continuing a dominant stretch of defensive form.

Farmington hits the road on Saturday, September 13, for a non-conference matchup at Rochester Mayo. Kickoff against the Spartans is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
