ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls soccer team remained unbeaten on the season with a 2-0 road victory over Rochester Mayo on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Tigers improved to 4-0-4 at the midway point of the season.

Farmington controlled possession early and turned their pressure into the game's opening goal when Makenzie found the back of the net off a well-placed assist from Madigan. The Tigers continued to dictate tempo throughout the first half, limiting Mayo's attacking opportunities.
In the second half, Sammie added to the lead with an unassisted goal to give Farmington a 2-0 advantage. The Tigers' defense stayed organized and composed, limiting the Spartans to just one shot on goal across 80 minutes.
Farmington outshot Rochester Mayo 13-1 and earned their fourth shutout of the season, continuing a strong run of form as conference play picks up.

Farmington travels to Lakeville North for a South Suburban Conference matchup on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
