FARMINGTON, Minn. – On a wet and rainy Thursday night at Tiger Stadium, the Farmington Tigers girls soccer team earned a 1-1 draw against South Suburban Conference opponent Shakopee. The result moves the Tigers to 2-0-3 on the season.

Shakopee controlled possession early, finishing the match with a 52.3% share and outshooting the Tigers 16-2. Despite the shot disparity, Farmington's back line and goalkeeping held firm, limiting the Sabers to just one goal across 80 minutes.
Farmington made the most of its chances, capitalizing on a first-half opportunity when Kaylee Komis scored the lone Tiger goal. The Tigers battled through challenging weather conditions and a late push from Shakopee, maintaining their defensive shape to preserve the draw.
Farmington completed 110 passes on the night, with a 48% pass success rate, and generated 12 crosses and three corner kicks in the match.
