The Farmington Tigers remained undefeated at home, notched their fourth win of the year, and posted their second straight shutout of the week. They defeated Burnsville 3-0.
Things got started relatively quickly when Victoria Haugrud crossed a corner into the box and assisted on the first goal of the game.
Haugrud then snagged a goal of her own nine minutes later, extending the lead 2-0.
The Tigers got their bench involved for the final 16 minutes of the first half after they secured the two-goal advantage.
Senior Daniela Renteria took advantage of the opportunity and took a long shot that ricocheted off a defender and passed the goal keeper for a 3-0 lead.
That would be all the Tigers and junior goal tender Ayden Gagner would need as she posted a second shutout in as many night this week at home.
